• Okaybayashi Sensei is not travelling to North America this year, but will be embarking on a "world tour" in 2010, where he will be visiting Uzbekistan, Italy, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Stay tuned for more news in this area!

• We are lucky enough to have Rod Uhler relocated back to Michigan this year, and Rod is currently teaching at the White Oak dojo on a fairly regular basis, and is teaching monthly sword classes at the Oakland University Aiki Kai. Rod has trained in Japan with Sensei for over a decade, and holds both a Shihan teaching license in Hakuhoryu, and a Menkyo in Ono Ha Itto Ryu kenjutsu. Rod is often accompanied by his lovely wife Mitsuko , who is also a Shihan in Hakuhoryu.
